Smashed Peas with Mint and Chilli

Corn, egg, gluten, lactose, milk, nut, peanut, sesame, soya & wheat free

I served this piled onto corn cakes but it would go well on a sandwich or burger.

Serves 2



  • 250g cooked peas
  • large handful of mint, finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • zest and juice ½ lime
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Use a hand blender to roughly chop the peas.
  2. Stir through the rest of the ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper.
