Delicious Freefrom Broccoli Sticks

Corn, egg, gluten, lactose, milk, nightshade, nut, peanut, sesame, soya & wheat free

A great and very easy idea given to us by our resident management consultant and sometime taster. Not only very tasty but a great way to use up all those broccoli stalks that no-one wants! Serve them with drinks (instead of those fat-laden crisps) or as part of a salad dish.


  • young broccoli stalks - they don’t have to be the very small ones but don’t use them if they are too tough
  • freshly ground sea salt
  • cold-pressed, virgin olive oil - or nut, hemp or sesame oil if you can eat them
  • freshly ground black pepper - optional


  1. Cut the stalks lengthways into fat matchsticks and lay on a dish.
  2. Grind over the sea salt and drizzle with oil. Leave for 20-30 minutes to marinate before serving.
