Hot Fruit with Rum and Chilli

Corn, egg, gluten, lactose, milk, nut, peanut, sesame, soya & wheat free

This would be lovely served with some coconut yogurt or ice cream.

Serves 2


  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped into chunks
  • ½ pineapple, peeled and chopped into chunks
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • juice of 1 lime
  • lime zest to serve (optional)


  1. Heat the oven to 180oC / 350oF / Gas 4.
  2. Place the mango and pineapple chunks into an oven proof dish.
  3. Sprinkle over the chilli and sugar.
  4. Pour over the rum and lime juice.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Top with lime zest if liked and serve.
