'May contain' logo survey

‘May contain’ labelling is dangerously confusing.  Does a ‘may contain traces of nuts’ warning mean that it is really dangerous for a nut allergic, or just that the company is trying to cover its back? There is no way for the allergic person to know.

But we want to change this.

We want products that do not need to carry ‘may contain’ warnings – because there is no risk of contamination – to carry a logo which says just that. So allergic consumers can buy that product with confidence.

But… what should be on that logo?

We need your help to find out what you, as consumers buying ‘freefrom’ foods, would want that logo to say to enable you to trust it.

Our survey only takes three minutes to fill in and will really help us to design a logo that will be meaningful, helpful and trustworth.
