The 2012 Bioinitiative Report, prepared by 29 medico/scientific authors, has just been published. It details the last five years worth of new scientific studies showing that the health impacts of man-made electromagentic radiation are much greater than was thought in 2007 when the last report was prepared. The Sensitivity of Children to Electromagnetic Fields. A lengthy article which appeared in the journal Pediatrics as long ago as 2005 highlights the sensitivity of children to electromagnetic fields and recommneds 'the development of precautionary policies in the face of scientific uncertainty'. 2005

Interesting article in the April 2012 Townshend Letter proposing that reactions to electrosmog are usually a secondary health effect, the underlying cause of the problem being either geopathic or emotional stress – also suggesting methods of reducing exposure. 04/12

Dr. Christine Aschermann, a German neurologist from Germany, shares a case history of a patient with a preexisting multiple chemical sensitivity who developed severe electromagnetic hypersensitivity, symptoms of which included burn-like skin manifestations, hypertension, brain-related disorders, and intestinal bleeding. 11/11

A 2004 paper from Professors Örjan Hallberg and Olle Johansson suggeting that 'increased incidence and mortality of melanoma of skin cannot solely be explained by increased
exposure to UV-radiation from the sun... and that continuous disturbance of cell repair
mechanisms by body-resonant electromagnetic fields seems to amplify the carcinogenic effects resulting from cell damage caused e.g. by UV-radiation.'

In an address to the Irish Doctors Environmental Association, Dr Gerb Oberfeld, who is credited with the policies that have led to the city of Salzburg having the lowest electromagnetic radiation levels in Europe, predicts that half the Irish population will have some form of EMR-related cancer by 2025.
