Mortimer Chocolate Company dairy-free chocolate powder

Adrian Smith spent over 20 years as a master cocoa taster for some the biggest names in chocolate before leaving to set up the Mortimer Chocolate Company.

They now source fine quality cocoa from local growers in Africa and South America from which they create 'estate' chocolate powders for use in recipes and to make bars of distinctly flavoured dark chocolate.

The dark chocolate powder is, of course, dairy free – and delicious – but so is their white chocolate powder, made from sugar, cocoa butter and natural vanilla. Mortimer Chocolates have some excellent recipes for using their chocolate on their website but we also used it very successfully in a White Chocolate Cheesecake.
